1969 Pontiac Firebird - modified Trans Am clone

74' 455 .060, 71' #96 heads-milled & ported, ss valves, hardened seats, comp valve job, owner ported, 1.65 rockers, RAIV cam, Nunzi remote oil filter, mini stater, Hooker super comp headers, 8" power booster, Butler valley pan, Wenzler tunnel ram, (2) edelbrock 500 cfm carbs, 2" spacers, 5" filters on velocity stacks, worked turbo 400 with 10" 3000 stall convertor and manual reversed shift pattern, 3" x-pipes exhaust, chevy 12 bolt posi with 3:73 gears, M/T et streets 30x12.5x15 on 15x10's.  Stock transam interior and dash. Deleted the a/c, heater, wipers, and fender wells. Trunk mounted battery. Fiberglass fenders and hood. Shaved door handles. All work was performed by owner except front buckets and rebuilding rear. My wife helped with removing front and rear windows to clean the channels, reassembling the cylinder heads and made the american flag headrest covers. She was a tiny bit angry with me for porting the heads on the kitchen counter.(didn't talk to me for over a week)so i suggest don't try it no matter how understanding they are. Winter project is a rollcage, battery cutoff switch and a little more customizing here and there, and off to englishtown in spring 2009 for hopefully some low et's

I love this car. I like tho old school look it has with the tunnel ram and stock rplice wheels. Love the stripes too, nice twist on the trans am look. Good luck at the track man
