This is my first SVT Contour. I purchased it used with 65,000 miles in 2002, and sold March 2006 and regretted ever since. I don't know the build number.
I think this car had "something extra" under the hood but can't prove it because I don't own the car anymore. I just know that it was noticeably faster than my current '98 Contour. I think it may have had an engine from a later SVT, once they upped the HP from 195 to 200.
