This is my '95 Civic Ex. It's my daily driver that's gonna start seeing some new parts as soon as i get my money straight. Things in need of repair are on page 2 . Plans are listed on page 3 , but don't expect to see progess anytime soon as I've got plenty of work to get done just to keep her roadworthy. Body work that needs to be done is on page 4 . All the pics I've taken of the car are on page 5. My overall plan for this car is to have a reliable daily driver with plenty of power, while still retaining power steering, a/c, and cruise control.

Money's been tight as usual, and since my car is in need of a re-ring I've decided to go the N/A route until I can save up enough for a spare z6 block for the turbo build. Specs on page 3.

Removed throttle body, IACV, and FITV and gave them all a good cleaning. Warms up and idles perfectly now.

Installed Viper 350HV alarm system

-10/14/09-

Checked the compression today

1: 190 2: 180 3: 120 4: 190

Looks like she's getting rings before boost

-10/4/09-

Got out my grease injection needle and greased the LH lower ball joint. Squeaking stopped. Might replace the ball joint next week.

-9/16/09-

Got a mint fender (actually granada black pearl) and a decent stock muffler yesterday. Installed both today. Pics tomorrow maybe.

-9/13/09-

Replaced left upper control arm, still a slight squeak. Plan on replacing the lower ball joints. Also managed to destroy the axle, the joint separated and ate itself up.

I did end up getting a full refund on the intercooler, return shipping and all...

Test fit the manifold with the BMC race adapter plate to the turbo

Found out the intercooler and piping won't fit without me basically removing the a/c condensor and cutting a hole in my rad support. There's just not enough piping. Also the intercooler is tiny, trying to get a refund on this junk...

Took the car all the way through North Carolina last week, it started to intermittently overheat while driving in town. Turns out the thermostat was sticking. New thermostat installed 8/13/09.

Intercooler FINALLY came, after waiting 17 days.

Over the past few days, I've noticed my car's been leaking coolant. Turns out the plastic was cracked under the filler neck on the radiator. Since I had no choice, I put some dish soap on the inside of some new hoses and slid them on the aluminum radiator that "didn't fit". Well the rad is in and so far so good.

-8/3/09-

Got the BMC Race adapter plate in today, very well engineered and made.

On the bad side, my car has started smoking more and more over the past few weeks. I may be looking at a re-ring unfortunately which would push back my turbo install. I'm going to check the compression and go from there.

-7/30/09-

Installed the B&M dual bend shifter and Energy Suspension shifter bushings... By far the best modification I've done so far. Huge improvement from stock, feels like a completely different car.

-7/29/09-

Bought a d16y8 valve cover.. looks better than the z6 i think, gonna be painting it wrinkle red. Pics will be up whenever that happens.

Also today found out the radiator I bought has the wrong size inlet and outlet... Looks
