The History

Early in the year                                                        Late in the year

Just a little history lesson, if you notice the headlights in the late picture look funky, that is because about February Plymouth moved them down four inches and back two. Mine was built early in the year. I don't know who owns the red one, or if it is even a four-door or not, I just borrowed the pic for compairison. Mine is most likely a deluxe model, a P-6, instead of the business model P-5. The most noticable way to tell the difference (on a two door) is the front vent wing windows. Those are only on the Deluxe. I was told by LN7_NUT that all four-doors have vent windows. I think i have a deluxe, as a second taillight and windsheild wiper is standard on the deluxe, but an option on the bussiness (for only six dollars).  But if mine is not a deluxe, the original buyer paid for not only the second taillight and windshield wiper but also to get the fenders painted body color. On a P-5 the fenders are black no matter what the body color, unless they pay extra. On a P-6 fenders came body color. (notice the color of the fenders on the red one, just maybe...)  It sounds more likely to me that the buyer would have just gotten the deluxe, instead of adding all these options on, but if anyone knows how to run the vin # on a website or somethin to really see, please dont hesitate to tell me!

I am not making all this up (at least to the best of my knowledge, no one is perfect), check it out for yourself, follow the link below. It is also a great site for anyone with an old mopar to learn a little about the history of your ride. If i have anything wrong or a typo or you just want to talk to me or whatever shoot me a message. Hope you enjoyed the site, thanks for visiting!
