I purchased this on November 11, 2008 after my 66' Coupe was rear ended while on my way to school. I was hit by a driver in my rear right quarter panel, which then forced me into the cement barrier next me, totaling out my entire car. The floor pan was buckled up, the shock towers were bent almost rammed into my new engine with less than 300 miles, and the body was twisted.
You can see the profile for my other car here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/860960
I searched around local papers, ebay, and saw this on craigslist. To make a long story short, I ended uplimping this thing home.In all, it is mostly complete, but needs alot of work, new rear glass, the stainless trim around it is gone, the speedo wasn't hooked up when I got it, bunch of zero gauge speaker wires wererun to the trunk, no weatherstripping, starter was dead, radiator was plugged, heater was taken out and is missing, steeringwas barely held on,bad wiring, wrong1967 Mustang parts that don't fit, cutup interior panels,it's missingthe backpiece to the fold down rear seat, thehood is a cheap Chinese knock off and is very warped, and so on.
The engine is a stock 289 backed by a T-10 4 speed, with the stock 2.80 rear gears in the 8" housing. The interior thatyou see is basically all new, seats, carpet, dash, door panels, door handles, window cranks, steering wheel, gauge cluster, glove box, headliner. Theheadliner was not put in very well, it issagging and loose, so that will be one thing I need to fix. Only thing I wish wasn't there were the speakers in the back, I can't fold down the rear seat.
