BigCoz87's 2000 Honda AccordBigCoz87's 2000 Honda AccordBigCoz87's 2000 Honda AccordI bought this car in May 2007 to replace my Ford Crown Victoria. This was my first Import, and i couldn't have been happier, from the all-around performance of this car to the exceptional comfort of driving. I took this car all over NY, and this car was almost as comfortable as my Crown Vic. The one winter that i had this car, it was a breeze getting through the snow (no winter tires, just all-seasons). I DIY painted the valve cover and also installed the AEM V2 cold air intake i bought through ebay. The intake was defintely worth the price, and i did see some MPG improvement when driving moderately, obviously a decrease in MPG from stock when driving with a lead-foot. The Top-End sound from this intake was incredible.....pure enjoyment to hear Honda V6 Vtec screaming at you! lol. But anyway, sadly, my ownership of this car was short-lived. On January 3, 2008, some genius decided to try and make a u-turn in the middle of the street without warning, and i hit him. Thankfully, the police officers who showed up used common sense and eye-witness accounts to serve justice, and the police report was written in my favor. I was deemed not at fault, and i received full value for the totaling of my car. That was the good news. The bad news? i lived in pain for 9 months later, finally getting surgery for torn ligaments in my shoulder that had occured as a result of the crash. The crash helped me put many things in perspective in my life, and helped me realize what is important in life, and what really isn't.

Whether or not you are a religious person, i hope that living your life by values and honor, instead of materialism, is what is truly important to you. Cars, televisions, sound systems, basically all material items, are irrelevant. As long as you live your life righteously, it doesn't matter what car you drive, or where you are in your life (financially). You succeeded as a person. And to me, that is the most important thing of all, living well and being happy. God bless, and drive safely!
