I bought my 2007 FJ in May of 07. It's a 4WD model, loaded with all of the (limited) available options, including rear differential lock, which makes it the toughest off-roader I've ever driven. At the onset, I was averaging about 20 mpg. Now, it's about 14 mpg. I've put over 50,000 miles on it in a year and a half and it's still running strong.
Since purchasing it, I have completed a pile of modifications. Here's the list:
-18" Moto Metal wheels
-custom black painted roof
-Revtek lift kit
-TRD cat back exhaust
-TRD cold air intake kit
-TRD oil cap and rad cap
-TRD floor mats
-JBA ceramic stainless exhaust headers
-Toyota rock rails, roof rack, & splash guard
-Infinity speakers throughout
