Hey man thanks for the comment, don't have much time to play with the ol' truck anymore. If I was you I'd start with getting rid of the cats and putting on some long tube headers (pacesetters are decent and affordable), a decent torque converter (2800 rpm stall), a transgo shift kit, some 4.10's, and a custom tune to account for those changes (as well as get rid of the torque management in the PCM as well as tweaking the spark tables, power enrichment, shift times and pressures, etc.). That'd prolly run you a couple grand or less and you'd have a good running 4.8 without even cracking into the motor. You could also toss on a little spray, even a 75 shot will give you a huge kick in the pants without endangering the engine or trans. Good luck!

thats cool. i might toss in a pair of pairs. don't wanna go too big cus i still want to be able to push the seat back a bit. the cover is a snugtop. i paid about 8 bills, installed and it also has carpet on the inside. so it makes it look cleaner than just having it bare. they're pricey but it gives the truck a smoother look
