This is my 2008 Shelby GT. I bought it new in October 2008. It is not a GT-350, as SAI hasn't built one since 1969. However, cardomain doesn't have the correct tag for the new Shelbys. The Shelby GT was built in 2007 and 2008 and has since been discontinued.
Every Shelby GT started its life as a Ford factory Mustang GT, then delivered to Shelby Autos in Las Vegas, in order to be modified into a Shelby GT. The performance modifications from the factory are fairly limited on an SGT. They add a Ford Racing cold air intake kit, a CPU re-flash, 3:55 gears, a Hurst short throw shifter, FRPP lowering springs, FRPP performance dampers, new mufflers, Ford Racing strut tower brace, and FRPP sway bars.
The appearance mods, however, are extensive. It comes with 18"x8.5" bullitt chrome wheels, silver le mans stripes & side stripes, billet hood pins, Shelby trunk lettering, hood and side scoops, spoiler delete, billet grill, door sill plates, and Shelby "CSM" dash and engine badge. It also comes with the same rear fascia as the GT500 and the GT/CS front fascia. My CSM is 08SGT1292, which means it's an 08 model Shelby GT, #1292 built.
Upgrades from Ford include HID headlamps, IUP (interior upgrade package), ambient cockpit lighting with multiple color choice, Shaker 500 stereo system, leather upholstery, and heated/power seats.
