I've had my 71 Gremlin since 1975. I bought the car for 200 dollars with no motor. So I went and stuck a 1969 pontiac 400 in it. I put a 411 posie track out of a javelin in it. Primered grey and in 1976 I had the fastest car in town. I went to school in Madera, Ca. For three years I raced in the streets for money and never got beat once! As I got older, and the tickets started adding up, I started to go for more of a show car, and not a race car. We've won allot of awards with the car, and as you can see the car has changed dramatically, from primered to a shiny beautiful black paint job. We still have a pontiac 400 in it, and we added a 671 blower, with two four barrel carbureators. Took out the AMC rear-end, and put in a ford 9-inch pro-street, with 20-inch tires, and with a 513 spool. We started chroming all kinds of things, and got a little carried away. We chromed everything from the motor compartment, to the roll cage, to the wheel tubs, to the whole rear end. The complete drive train and the exhaust is all chrome plated. We have allot fun with this car, and still get drive it on the street. If you want more information or more pictures just email me or call me at 541-660-9554
