UPDATE 09/30/09

Heres a pic of the new ride height and wheel setup!

NinjaKNIVES's 2005 Ford Mustang

Just bought a C&L intake tube off my friend for 50 bucks! i really didnt like the casted aluminum look so i have been hand sanding and polishing it down, im trying to get it to a mirror finish but its very time consuming. The piece the MAF plugs into is what it originally looked like. Let me know what you think! also im looking into construction a heat shield box for the filter with ram air tubes feeding from the bottom grill.

UPDATE 09/14/09

I hadnt done anything to my car in awhile and the modding bug snuck up and bit me harcore!

The new additions include: Avarus FRONT 20"/8.5" REAR 20"/10.5 wrapped in Kumho ECSTA SPT ultra high performance summer tires. Eibach Pro plus Suspension kit, Coils, shocks, and sway bars. Also i did a little at home tinting action!

Tinting: I decided to grab some tint film from my local auto store and tint my ugly orange blinkers up front and i also tinted the driver and passenger but i don't have any pics yet.

Installing was kind of tricky but overall im very glad i did it myself because i still am going to have to pay to have it aligned.

Unfortunately about 10mins before i finished a really bad storm came in and has been raining since. I have gone out and taken it for a test spin when it lets up and let me tell you, this is by far the most noticeable upgrade! it lowered the car 1 1/2" all around and it surprisingly rides ALOT smoother and darts through the corners like a mad banshee!!!

Once the weather looks nicer outside im gonna get some good pictures of the overall car!! let me know what you guys think.

This was my first time drag racing, still got a long ways to go before im any good.

Painted my valve covers with engine enamel red, which only cost me $7.95 and some lower back pain.

Recently switched over to Full Synthetic Mobil1 5w20 Oil and a K&N oil filter, BIG difference. I honestly wasnt expecting to see any changes really other than maybe in longevity of my engine, but i really can feel the increase in performance.

Sorry to get back to you so late, but thanks for your comment! I never really get online anymore, so I'm slacking with replying to people, haha.Anyway, your 'Stang is looking damn good, too. I love the red valve covers. I've been thinking about painting mine black, but I'm a slight bit... no, incredibly lazy. :P
