may be you are interested what to find over here in europe. If you are not interested in the whole story but in technique just go to page 9.Engine upgraded in May 2004!!! Details on page 9
from an article:Oldsmobile played a dominant role in the musclecar era with the introduction of the Cutlass/442. Known as the "gentleman's musclecar", Oldsmobile took elegance and conveniance and mixed it with raw power
this was exactly what i wanted after considering the at least in Europe better known muscles like chevelles, chargers, GTO`s etc.
.... and I had to look for her quite a while...
It is an one owner 442 convertible with a lot of options from switzerland (they had GM production `til the 70 ties). It has just 80000 miles and is fully serviced(have the service and owner`s manual!!!) The car was 100% original and # matching. Everything worked fine except the clock.
Even the engine was perfect and very fast. But I decided to buld another 455 olds engine with about 420 HP.(specs on page 9) On May, 21st 03 it was in and running. ;-) ET with this engine 13,8 but hope to get to upper 12 after modifications in May 2004 )
