CHECKOUT HIS SIMPLE DIY:

Custom Door Panel!!!!!!!!

MARCH 2, 2009

ITEMS NEEDED:

scissor, cloth(whatever material u like), butter knife

tenzing31190's 2003 Honda Accord  tenzing31190's 2003 Honda Accord

Well basically u need the scissors to cut the fabric about 2' by 1' 1/2". then place the material on the door panel. slowly and firmly use the butter knife to wedge the edges of the fabric into the corners of the door panel.( the door crease might be tight so try prying the door panel slightly to ease the fabric between the crease). Also cut excess fabric, but make sure to leave a 1/2" to 1" for tucking between the crease. BE PATIENT AND YOUR PANEL WILL LOOK AWESOME!!!!!!

ANOTHER DIY!!! BLACKHOUSED STOCK HEADLIGHTS!!!

HEADLIGHT CAME IN!!! I USED THIS SITE AS A REFERENCE AS TO HOW TO BLACKHOUSE MY HEADLIGHT. http://www.members.tripod.com/megatron01/index_files/Page338.htm.

ITEMS NEEDED:

- 1 CAN SPRAY PAINT

- 1 CAN PRIMER (I USED RUSTOLEUM SANDABLE SPRAY PRIMER)

- OVEN WITH OVEN MITTS AND TOWELS

- FLATHEAD SCREWDRIVER

- PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER

STEP 1: REMOVE HEADLIGHT FROM CAR. SIMPLE JUST COMMON SENSE

STEP2: REMOVE THE RUBBER PLUGS THAT COVER THE BULB OPENINS. THERE ARE TWO PER HEADLIGHT, AND REMOVE BULB AS WELL.

STEP 3: NOW PREHEAT OVEN TO 200 DEGREES FARENHEIT. AND PLACE HEADLIGHT ON A TOWEL AND HEAT HEADLIGHT FOR 20 MINUTES.

STEP 4:  AFTER 20 MINUTES, REMOVE HEADLIGHTS AND USE A DISPOSABLE FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER TO SLOWLY PRY THE HEADLIGHT CASE OPEN. (BE CAREFUL NOT TO BREAK CLIPS ON  HEADLIGHT LENSE). BE PATIENT.
