Well, this is the Z28 Camaro i just bought. 3rd gen 1986.
i picked it up for $400

It needs paint, along with a motor and transmission. Other then that, its all there.
Luckily this thing doesnt have a bit of rust on it, a bit on the roof but thats about it. Which is really minor. The whole underbody is spotless excluding surface rust on differential and driveshaft, swing arms and such.
stock 3.73:1 gears in the differential. not sure if its open or LSD.

It has brand new interior, all redone. I'm still peicing it back together peice by peice. But coming together well.

I'm leaving the back seats out, because there just more weight. (this is gonna be a 1/4 mile car)
They will probably get replaced with removable sub enclothers.

Everything works.

X100 Tachometer, still getting used to it.

145MPH speedometer.

The trunk, probably will get amps mounted in it. This had a stereo in it previously, amp wires are already all ran.
The motor thats going in this is the same one i was going to put in the Z car, only difference with this is it will bolt right in, with no modification.

Since these pictures were taking, the distributor was timed, plug wires cleaned up.
I still have to put the power steering pump back on and get a alternator.
The stock manifolds in the pictures are only used to start the engine on the stand.
I will be using different headers in the car.
This motor is a stock engine, pushing 250HP 350 pounds of torque stock without any performance parts.

========================================================================
Started body work today, this car doesnt have much. But i wanted to tackle it before it got worse.

Chipped away all the paint and privious bondo and sanded/wire brushed it until it was shinny again.
Sanded until there was a 1/2 inch of shinny metal between the paint and the rust so i knew i got all the rust.
Next i put some resin on to seal it, and followed it down with some fiberglass.

I let that dry, and then cut all the loose glass off. Then sanded it level with the paint.

Then started to fill the inperfections.

Sanding, sanding, and still more sanding.

Also touched up a few more spots.

All the rust got grinded/sanded and wirebrushed out. Then i filled what needed to be filled and clear coated the bear metal so it doesnt rust (things love to rust in florida)
