This truck has the Mazda power plant with a four speed, and came to me in old school hot rod dress, centerline wheels and webber carb!  to further help this I will be adding groung affects and a bed cover. as I intend to use it for distance runs I will not be lowering it.  full gauge set for the dash including vacuume and feul pressure.

got into it, found loose guides on the timing chain, bolts (missing, crossthreaded, loose, and broken) so jumping time was a warning! the head was fine, cylinders looked great, found out who put the thing together this way, he didn't appreciate being laughed at. will have more picts soon. I have decided to keep this one "old school hot rod" and build the 84' mazda as a street truck.

note: all three have the 2.0 mazda motors, as factory builds. and the white truck in the background is my '80 datsun, been with me for 7 years, I hope this little ford can match that.

Finally got a clear day to work on it, intake and exhaust leaks caused #3 to burn valves, but after taking the head loose I found that it saved the motor, the timing chain guide bolts were 1 out and the other was way loose on the same guide.

I built the bumper myself, its all made of 18 gauge steel. Light but very strong. U will probably have to have someone to make you a custom one. Nice lookin truck though.
