This is my 77 280z. Im 17 years old and I live in NC. I got this car on september 2008 and have not stop working on it since.

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZThis is how it looked when i first got it. I had to pay a towing service to bring the car to my house since it didnt run.

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZThe interior looked decent when I got it so there's not much work that I have to do.

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZThe rear end looked ok. The rust problem was mostly in the fenders, engine bay, and where gas tank was located.

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZThe front of the car had major rust problem.

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZAll the clutter from the engine made this look complicated. My dad and me decided the best thing to do was to replace the engine.

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZNot much workspace but my mom agreed on parking her car outside so we can work more comfortably.

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZThe motor i got was a L28E from a 82 ZX. Looked better and the guy who sold it to us said it was running. Plus my old motor had a four speed tranny and i wanted an upgrade. This replacement motor has a five speed!

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZThis is during the process of taking out the engine. The whole engine was very dirty and rusted. Good thing we got another motor!

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZWe made a mess when taking apart the ZX engine. Hahaha

zloco91's 1977 Datsun 280ZThis is how the car looked after we took out the engine. The other motor was under work as seen in the side of the picture.
