In these pictures I am just trying to show my greddy turbo timer installed above the steering wheel. I molded it into the column.. second pic didn't turn out good at all. I'll get some more later of this. Don't mind the dirty floormats, it is winter ;)

How to black out your tail lights
After an overwelming amount of e-mails on how to smoke your tail lights, ill just post it on here. Here is a simple step by step process
1. Remove all 3 rear tail lights. They are screwed in behind the plastic surrounding of the hatch.
2. Use masking tape to tape off any sections of the light you do not want to get paint on. (the back side and rubber corners)
3. Buy yourself a couple cans (12oz) of VHT Nightshades, a raddlecan spray paint specifically for tinting tail lights and headlights.
4. Clean the surface thoroughly with water, and then dry.
5. Spray LIGHT even coats of nightshades over the tail lights. Try to put all 3 taillights sidebyside and go over them as a whole, to ensure that you have an even coat through all 3 lights.
Note : This paint is very thing and runs very easily. Be careful to not spray too much, because if you do, it will run. You may hardly be able to see the paint during your first couple coats, but don't worry, it will start to show up.
6. When you are done with the paint, wet sand any runs that you left behind.
7. This step is optional, but I used a little clear coat over the nightshades. Just to prevent scratching and also to give the lights a little bit of a gloss.
Thanks for all your interest. Glad to hear all your compliments on the car. Keep writing on the guestbook I love feedback.

Just got back from ITB (Indy truck bash). Took a bunch of great pics! A few of my car (small changes) and some other bad ass ones. Here they are:
I wrapped part of the door with white vinyl. Used 3M Adhesive spray to hold it down, blowdrier to "shape" the vinyl, and hotglue on the backside to hold it in nice and tight. I got sick of painting this part over-and-over agian.

close-up of my molding. Turned the ashtray/cupholder into an LED Switchpanel.

I wrapped the plastic peices around the hatch in vinyl as well. Came out really good!

My turbotimer molding being primered at my shop.

Cleaned up my amp/sub setup a bit. Put in a new amp (2000 watts). Hits hard.

This is Scott's S10. Fully bagged. He's in my carclub. Like the assmouth emblem? lol :)

My carclub.

Burnout competition at the show.

This clear hood is BAD ASS.

More New pics: Sorry the quality blows -- had to take them with my digital camcorder's picture feature.
Here's a little work in progress... My GReddy turbotimer, being molded onto the steering column. It fits perfectly below my tach / speedo gauges. I just gotta finish sanding it and throw some paint, and this bad boy is ready.

Just a pic of the eagle emblem on my front bumper.

The reverse light on the tail lights. Pardon the dust.

Just a shot from the back.

Here's a free mod: Cut out part of your fender wall and put in a grill. I just drilled holes and put in bolts / washers to hold mine in. Will increase flow from your sidemount intercooler, which can gain horsepower & make for better cooldown times.

Shot of driver's side headlight. White vinyl eyebrow here. Nice accent.

The car is up on a jack on the passenger side, that's why the tire looks like the camber is horribly off.

I love this pic. Thermal research catback. 3" turbo back, 5" muffler, no cat -- this thing is a beast. (and it looks good too)

Back shot. Blacked tails, white TALON lettering (vinyl stickers), painted around reverse lights. Painted wing.

Hahn racecraft sticker on the windshield. Very clean looking.

My upper control arm. It has been making contact with the inner fender wall. Dont know exactly why. going to be looking into this.

Just a pic of the decals on my door.

Some New pics:
20 lbs. boost baby.

Trying to hold a camcorder & take a picture, steer the car, and shift gears here.

Putting the wing to good use!

That pic was from hot import nights chicago last september. Best pic of my car ive ever seen! Anyway. Just put in some RC 550cc injectors yesterday with a APEXi SAFC. This car is running GREAT! I hope to get some video's up here soon of racing and whatnot. keep checking back. Also installed a camber kit for the front wheels. cya later.

Ok I've had the turbo about a month now.. it is running great. It does have boost creep from ~19psi to ~21 psi, so I am a little worried about that, but it should be ok.
The walbro 255lph fuel pump runs loud, but works well, and I personally like the sound of a loud fuel pump ;)
Here are some new pics:
smoked tails. all custom, a nice alternative to altezzas and stock orange/red lights. I painted around the reverse lights to keep a little white in there, and made TALON white with vinyl decals. Also painted the wing black with white tips.

5" thermal research & development muffler w/3" catback. kind of dirty, but it does the job.

Here's some freestyle bondo action. Took the cupholder and ashtray out, put in ABS plastic, drilled holes, put in roundrocker LED switches, bondo'd the whole thing, sanded like a bastard, and threw some paint on. Looks clean, just need something to put in the left section. was thinking an engine start button?

Ok.. here she is.. big 16g turbo (ported).. pushing 19psi. Hallman MBC also pictured... the turbo has a compressor outlet pipe coming from the top which is routed to the stock sidemount.

Injen intake, k&n filter, hks ssbov, custom "air box" to keep the engine heat out. To tell you the truth I noticed no difference.. just a free mod that maybe gains a horsepower or so. Also you can see the intercooler piping going from underneath the air filter.

ported 2g manifold,Ported o2 housing from a 1g leading to the rre 3" downpipe....

Front shot with the new eyebrows.

Just bought a big 16g turbo ported, ported manifold, ported o2 housing, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and hallman boost controller. install is tommorow 02/15/04.
Purchased and installed GReddy Turbotimer
Purchased a 3" Pacesetter downpipe, with straight pipe, eliminating the cat. installed
Purchased a 3" Thermal Research Catback exhaust w/5" muffler. installed
Purchased ACT2600 lb clutch. sitting in closet
Painted wing black and white
put on headlight eyebrows
blacked out tail lights

Here's a front view. Just put the clear bumper lights on last week - they look much better than the amber colored lights that come with these cars. If you have 30 bucks to spend, buy these!

Here are the rims I have been waiting to put on all winter. 18" Motegi MR7's wrapped in Nankang Z-Rated tires. The decals along the door panel do a great job at accenting the black / white theme of the car. A special thanks to Ray at Midnightmoose for the awesome job on customizing those decals for me.
