Here is our 50 CJ3A on the day we bought it last spring. Still has the L-Head 134 and all stock drivetrain. We plan on leaving this one mostly stock, but will add some modern items. This belonged to a fire station, and it used to have a pto pump that ran off the rear pto out put. So far I have rewired the whole jeep piece by piece and added a fuse box. All new gauges and key switch went in at the same time. I converted it all to 12volt from 6volt, and added a delco 1 wire alternator along with a new starter. I will include pics of this alternator conversion next time I pull it inside. I also purchased a new donaldson style dry type air filter assembly and got rid of the oil bath. My wife and I are trying to make this a reliable weekend trail rig for when we want to leave the kids behind, (it only has two seats).

Any body interested, Im removing the pto set up, along with all of the shifter parts, draw bar, drive shaft, and pto unit off the t-case, anyone interested, drop me a line.

yes the body is a bit rough, and I do plan on fixing some of it, but once it gets some trail rash, it will look like a true jeep.
