In my opinion, this is the best style mod, ever.

How To:
From the rear, like in the pics, imagine the 3 lights, #1, 2, and 3, left to right, 3 being the circle.
This is the method I used:
1) Remove taillight, it'll make things WAY easier.
2) Remove all 3 bulb sockets.
3) Remove the number 1 bulb and put it aside, you won't need it.
4) Remove the number 3 bulb and put it in the number 1 socket.
5) Put the number 2 bulb in the number 3 socket. (This will leave the number 2 socket empty, keep it empty)
6) Now this is the fun part, cut the ground wire on the number 1 socket.
7) Put the number 3 socket into the number 1 hole, and the number one socket into the number 3 hole.
8) Now, extend the ground wire on the number 1 socket that is now in the number 3 hole.
9) Put taillight back in and test!
Final result is:
Socket 1 holds bulb 3 in position 3.
Socket 2 is in stock position, empty.
Socket 3 holds bulb 2 in position 1.
This following method did not work for me , but I heard it was truly this easy.
1) First, remove the number 1 bulb and put it aside, you won't need it.
2) Remove the number 3 bulb and put it in the number 1 socket.
3) Remove the number 2 bulb and put it in the number 3 socket. (This will leave the number 2 socket empty, keep it empty)
4) Re-Assemble and test.
The final result is:
Socket 1 holds bulb 3 in stock location.
Socket 2 is in stock location, empty.
Socket 3 holds bulb 2 in stock location.
For clarification, using the method I performed:
Stock:
Bulbs 1 and 2 lit while driving. Bulb 1 and 3 illuminate bright when braking. Bulb 2 always stays lit the same brightness.
Modded:
Bulb 3 is lit while driving. Bulb 1 illuminates while braking and bulb 3 brightens up more. Bulb 2 is always off (since it's an empty socket).
