I added the wheels from my Gfs CSE and put them on the car. looks a little better then those funky aftermarkets i had on there.

This is my winter beater, a 89 900 base model 4 door sedan that until last month, hadnt been run or driven in 3 years. I fired it up, did a tuneup and started driving it.

At first it looked like total ass, with steelies on front and stock 15 spoke alloys on the rear. skinny tires and bad paint on the hood, roof and trunklid. I Swapped the hood for one that didnt have the peeling clearcoat, and i flat blacked out the trunklid and the roof.

I then addressed the severe lack of power, with the addition of a turbo from an 85 SPG. I have a habit of Offroading the car, and taking it places it shouldnt go, so putting the oil cooler in the stock location, behind the bumper on the bottom of the frame, seemed really stupid, so i decided to make my own oil cooler out of a 9000 unit. now if i bottom the car out i wont drain it of oil:)
I added a boost gauge and turbo injectors, but havent yet added a turbo computer. The max boost is 8PSI, and the 10:1 compression ratio makes this thing haul royal ass.

I then could take a little bit of pride in my new beater so i added some aftermarket wheels that i got for free with some 205-60-15 inch tires. the handling got soooo much better, but shortly after the front brakes started making some pretty nice metal friction noises, so i added some 9k calipers, with new pads, and some cross drilled rotors (that i got for free).

The only bummer is it is only a 2.0 engine that seems to be old and seriously lacking compression, so if it explodes (which is damn near impossible) i will be replacing it with a 2.1 that hopefully is doing better in the compression department.
