On October 26, 2008, we all met at the bottom of Kingsbury Grade. There were 15 vehicles. We had a variety, 2 FJ's, 1 Toyota P/U, 1 4Runner, 1 Kia, 1 Tracker, 1 F/S Chevy P/U, 1 Jeep WJ, 3 Jeep Cherokees and 4 Jeep TJ's. The trail was stocker friendly with mostly dirt, some sand, some gravel, some rocks and some loose rocky sections. Some of the attending vehicles were very well built. Some of the vehicles are mildly built. The rest are stockers.

Here we are at the top of Kingsbury Grade, at Brautovich Park. Also, taking a break and waiting for all to catch up.

Here is some of the scenery we all experienced. This was my first time going into the Tahoe Rim area to run any trails. WOW were the views spectacular. Here's the Kia.

We stopped at a plane crash sight. Then had to continue on and turn around on the other side.

Here we are gathering to go to Genoa Peak. This Dakota was blocking our route.

Here we are approaching the peak and some of the views from the top. You can see Lake Tahoe and Gardnerville depending on which way you look.

Yours truly above right at the summit. We stopped for a break, eat some lunch and climb to the top for spectaculr views looking east and west. Everybody made it as seen from above.

After lunch, we came halfway down and made a run to Spooner Summit. Came out near the top of Spooner Pass. Here we are almost ready to hit the asphalt again after a great day meeting new wheelers and people we've known. It was a great day. We had no breakage, no flats, no stucks, no damage to anyones vehicle.
