The ride didnt change at all, but I did have to get a 2 inch lift in the back. Most Maximas are lower in the back so it causes the tires to rub a little. But a 2 inch lift takes care of that problem right away. The guys at my boys rims shop lifted the car the same day they put the rims on. I havent noticed anything with the transmission, the car runs perfect. All the speed and handling is all still there. So you should be ok with the 22's. Keep me posted on your max!

Im gonna get a cap as well. As far as my system, im gettin 2 Alpine XD 12in's. Im still debating on a box and amp for em.

I feel you on that customizing the box stuff. I was told that adding and extra battery is better than adding the cap in every single way. I guess it all depends on the Max power of the system you installed. Everyone with a sound system in the Maxima says the same thing about the rattle coming from the third brake light area. I guess i will dynamat that area first.
