This is my 2006 mitsubishi raider durocross. the day that she rolled off the lot!
Shes been a great investment so far and i love everything about her but the payments! hahaha
so its been a little while sence ive been on here. a day before i got my leveling kit theres just always been this puddle that a few of my frinds woulndt even attempt to get their wheels next to (no offense i wouldnt blame them) haha but as we sat at chipoltle if i spelled that rightt. i said i was gunna do it. this puddle was aboutttttt 100 feet line and didnt seem that deep thwn again we tested it with stick. im only 18 for those woundering. so i k new that wasnt gunna be accuratee haha but o well. so here i am stuck in this wounderful puddle haha. here are a couple pics.
so we were lugs deep and deeper as you can see. haha it was a blast. so we were with my buddy nick with his Silverado on the site to (chevysilverado00) we thought you know he has 4x4 so he should pull us out. WRONG! all he did was spin and i didnt budge.
so from that point on we realized. this is no good haha. so i calle dmy boy brian who has an f250 turbodiesel truck pushing over 800 pounds of tourque to the wheels dynoed to prove it. and when he couldnt pull us out the day became long. finally after blocking the road off twice to try and get street traction. a guy called a tow truck to winch us out. he ended up getting me out after about 20 minutes haha. over all the day was excellent minus the mudd in the floor and being 50 dollors poorer haha but it was all worth it because its not forgotten to me.
heres a video of the marley neck puddle run. i know why i didnt make it threw. one i didnt have a lift therfore my skidplate bottomed out cuz the rutt got so deep it just wasnt possible for my stock height raider. and another problem was. where the the intake is going into the wheelwell it sucked up water causing my truck to try and stall and throw on an engine light! all fun and games though.
i got the leveling kit installed on the truck got them off of ebay for a hundred bucks couldnt beat it and it worked great. i also ordered spring stabilizers off of jcwhitney and 3 inch rear blocks for the back. heres a picture of my truck at petsmart with just the leveling kit on it. i also have some BF goodrich a/t 35/16/12 for it i just gotta lift the front befor i put them on i hope for little to no rub but i wont know till i put them on.
these needed to be installed at the time(i havent installed the stabilizers yet if anyone has and has some tips im interested and would apriciate the help!)

i got me some fresh window tint and some 12000K HIDS 15% all the way around and 35% on the winsheild.this pic also shows it with the 3 inch bocks and the leveling kit on the front!
a few days ago my buddie called me saying he was stuck and his friends were there to trying to get them out but couldnt so i was thinking to myself. idk if i can get them out but ill try i havent been offroad in awhile lets do this haha. so i get a call half way there and went into the trail a different way and my horns navigaed me there by them hearing me get closer and such. but i roll up and there are 3 trucks stuck haha. 2 jeeps and a chevy 1500. i honestly was doubting my raider but it proved itself to me big time by pulling all 3 of the trucks/suvs out! as jon kept saying all day that things got balls and yea shes got some balls alright!
