Throught a period of several years the 6thLineCrew has come into the possesion of several field cars. Some were good and some were bad but none were quite as epic as the 1987 Pathfinder In SE Trim with the VG30E motor, 5spd transmission and 4WD. Owned by Cody it was driven in his family for many a day building upward of 600k...well thats where the odo stopped. It was brought to our school as a restoration project but due to the actions of some certain persons it ended up with no windows and just to much work to be worth fixing. It ended up at my house where it sat for a year. We then got it running again, cleaned out the glass and the Pathy was back. Since then it's been jumped, tossed, drowned and crashed into a tree. I can truthfully say it has been running with little to no oil for well over 3 months. After a collison with the sunbuggy it has a busted rad.
The short list is;
No oil, brakes, windows, hood, hatch, wipers, interior, dash, supension, exhaust.
But it still runs and runs like a champ. After a brief sit in the back field after the engine almost being blown it is now in the progress of getting back to it's former glory of the champion bush buggy.
Well there's your problem!
We can make it over...
Overcorrecting on corners is baaaaad
Alas the pathfinder has left us. After an attempt at resurection the brakes failed and I crashed into a tractor. The entire front corner was crushed in and the fan was hitting the rad. It still started however, then it was driven out back and left for it's doom.
Cody has a same year pathfinder that needed a cam so the partyfinder was stripped for parts and is off the scrapyard. RIP old buddy
