This is my 1966 Chrysler Newport
The car has 41,000 origional miles on it and I am the second owner.
It was ordered with all the options for '66, it has:
383 w/2 barrel and an automatic
AC, powersteering
Power windows
Tilt and Teloscopic wheel
and it rides like a dream.
I purchased the car at an estate sale. I guess the old guy who owned it passed away and his wife sold everything. Tucked away in the barn was this old Chrysler!!!! The car was only driven in the summer when the man was up from his second home in Ohio. The paint needs to be re-done, as well as the interior, but this is an all around decent car.
My wife and I took the car to a costume party for Halloween!!!!
We dressed up as Mobsters.... seems to fit the car pretty good!!!
O.K....... Now that you have seen the car...... Should I:
Leave it all original and drive it???
Re-paint the car solid black with factory interior???
Re-paint the car 2 tone black, satin on top/ gloss on bottom, and re-do the interior black as well???
Re-paint the car 2 tone, gun metal on top/ black on bottom with a leather, suede combo in the interior???
