This is a 1987 2 door 2-wheel-drive Chevrolet S-10 Blazer. I bought this truck for $155 through a silent auction at a place I used to work at. I was expecting there to be a lot of problems with it so my original plan was to cut the roof off and basically bag it until it wouldn't run. I had it inspected and found that the only real problems with it were the windshield needed to be replaced, which I already knew about, and I also needed to replace the brake lines on the front end which was pretty cheap. Since then I have planned to repaint it and do a little work to it and then resell it. In March 2009 I blew the motor in my 94 Blazer so I drove this one for about 5 months while it was being replaced and it ran better than I had ever expected.
It has a 151ci Iron Duke l4 rated at 98hp from factory in 1987.
My friend rolled his Jimmy a few months before I bought this and I took his rear door/tailgate panel because this was missing one and I also took his mini center console and wired in the cigarette lighter for it.
I replaced the chrome front bumper with a basic steel bumper with no plastic trim and I have removed the rear chrome bumper and I plan to weld in the steel roll pan I've bought for it. And I also have a Cherry Bomb Glasspack to replace the muffler with and I installed a Pioneer cd player with aux input.

My plan for this Blazer is to black out the entire vehicle because I've wanted to do it for years, before everyone else started doing it, but I never really had a chance to and now I do.
I am an Autobody Apprentice and plan to do a majority of the work myself.
I have smoked the signal lights and tail lights but I might redo them flat.
I tinted the back windows with 95%.
I also bought H4 convertion headlights with black backing and projectors.
I plan to paint it either flat or satin black but I am leaning more towards flat black, I have already painted the door jams flat black.

I'll try to add new pictures soon on my progress
