"T.J. The 1971 AMC Hornet"

When I bought this car back in May for 800 bucks, it had the headlights and 1 brake light working.  Since then me and my Grandpa have made a few improvements to it.  We have all the lights working, except for the dome light and blinkers.  We also have the wipers working, and the doors now open from the outside, ect.  It has a 232 c.i.d. (3.8 L) straight 6 with a three on the tree.  I have tried to paint the outside to give tribute to the S/C Rambler, which was the predecessor to the Hornet.  Meanwhile, the engine is painted in a Hornet theme.  And before anyone asks, I will always have an AMC engine in it, NOT AN SBC!  I'm not going to go super crazy with it, but I will change a few more things.

Now some pictures:

Thanks for checking out my car!  If you have any questions about it, leave them in the comments or message me.

Thanks for the comment. I toy with the idea of swapping out the six in mine now and then, it would be a good learning expirience, but I like the 6, everyone puts a 360 in their Gremlins. I'd be happy just getting a bit more performance out of the 6. I have seen your car before, I think over on one of the AMC forums. I like the idea of painting it as a SCRambler tribute. Keep pluging away at it, it looks like a fun project.
