So Here's The Story

I inherited this car from my Late Wife Michelle Weippert. This was traded to her for her 1971 Mustang Grande 302 2v Auto after she was rear ended a few days before Thanksgiving 2001. It was in great shape body wise and later as I was researching it's origins I found out why. The car started it's life in the Phoenix, AZ area and sometime I assume migrated up to Lakewood, WA around 1981 or so. This is an estimation as that is the farthest back dated receipt I have for the car. I also did research to see what the originally came with. Ironically there were no real changes at all. The previous owners kept it as close to stock as possible. No Signs of "Hot Rod" Modifications at all. This was a real find indeed.

Specs

1966 Emberglo Mustang Coupe

289 2v V8 3 Speed Manual

Emberglo and Parchment Pony Interior

Factory Am Radio (THAT STILL WORKS!!!)

Other than it being a V8 Car with Pony Interior it was Plain Jane.

Things left to do are:

Install AC (Factory Dash Unit and Compressor Bought!)
Install Front Disc Brakes (Both Calipers, 1 Bracket, Both Brake Shields and Rotors on hand. Need 1 More Bracket)
Paint Bumper Filler
Paint Dash
Replace Trunk Seal (Bought!)
Replace Drivers Fender and Paint (Bought!)
Need to rebuild the Engine

Stuff I'm thinking about doing:

I might change the Keystones out with something different. She didn't really like them but I did.

Other than that, it's about done!

Wow, that's a sad sorry about Michelle and the car. Glad to see you are going to fix it up again, good luck with the restore, but I can see your heart is really in this rebuild. 5*s for you
