This is my only car right now, so it's a daily driver with about 156,000 miles on it now. I occasionally take it to the track and run it. My current best is 11.81 @ 118mph on street tires. 5 stars. The car has bittersweet memories. My parent sold their black T-Type in May 2007, because of high property taxes (bought the car in Feb of 1987). It had 120,000 miles (orignal motor) and sold it for $8,000 (mid #2 shape). It traded twice in 2007, last I knew some Buick/GN colletor in MAss - and I heard this dude is going to restore it. This car was not a W-34 (all black out package, but Dad did add the black trim later). I am super ticked off about the 63 Starfire more than I am about the T-Type. Like Bob B says (former Rep manger for Oldsmomile(NC zone) and former first owner of my red Toronado), " You can not save them all."
