The motor block prep and cleaning
Preping and cleaning is very important when dealing with this type of motor work...
Here the motor block after taking off the block head...
I removed the motor block gasket and cleaned inside the the block around the pistons..
Using the vaccum to suck away all debri that fell inside the block
A nice and new blade to gentily remove all the left over from the gasket
Here is the final product after 3 hours of cleaning the motor block (face and inside), intake and exhaust manifold face and installed the block gasket. Its ready to mate with the block head!
