Hey everyone,
Here is my 79 Monte Carlo Landau. I purchased the car in April of 2008 with the intentions of keeping it clean, and from the era. So far the only changes I've made are the wheels. The car came with stock 14" whire hub caps.. Now with the 15x8 rally's with 195's in the front and 255's in the rear, the car sits right.
Future plans include stiffening up the suspension, and overhall to make the early 70's small block 350 four barrel really roar.
Bottom line - Clean, mean, and Canadian!!
Let me know what you think,
Thanks for looking.
P.S.. Lots of good comments guys.. Thanks and keep them coming.. By the way.. The car is not black.. It's a metallic gunmetal..Looks black at night..
Just a little update.. Aug 2009. I did the entire exhaust... Headman Street Headers to an X pipe, 2.5 inch piping to dual flowmaster 40 series, and tails out to chrome turndowns out the back..
Also picked up the start of the Edelbrock Performer RPM kit for the 350.. Got the cam, intake, and carb (750 cfm).. Just need to get the 202 heads... Engine is going to be rebuilt in the fall... Thanks for looking guys
