Introduction
Thanks for checking out my 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX Prodrive.
I purchased the car second hand in late October 2008. This WRX comes with the usual 2.0 Litre Engine but with an ECU remap. So far I have installed a Panasonic DVD Front Loader with Ipod & Bluetooth connection, backed up with a Vibe 1600Watt Subwoofer. My first plan is to completely convert the WRX to a full on STI with an engine rebuild and later on tuning the engine with Type-25 Cosworth components. Already from purchase the car has more horsepower and torque than the STI version. This car has several ridiculous rumors going around South Africa that it has 700-900 horsepower. I learnt that this started from my South African's friend who came over and rode in my car and believes it to have more torque than a BMW M3. Although flatering, i believe this is simply not the case (yet). Eventually ofcourse, I aim to move over to South Africa, and import my Subaru there, where I think the car will get the load of attention it deserves once completed. A have an intense vision of this car and hopefully you can bear witness to the changes that occur leading up to this.
