1 of 6 vehicle's I currently own. Hey, for a girl...I LOVE vehicle's. What can I say, I'd own 50+ if I could!

Here is another vehicle I own. It's my 1957 VW 'Spyder ' dunebuggy. Sitting on a 1957 VW Tudor shortened pan with a 1967 VW 1500 sp engine, king linkpin front and swing axle rear.

"SPYDER" buggies are hard to find...I have searched for another one. And the only other one I found was in really bad shape and all cut up :( .  The "SPYDER's" mold were made by Houston Fibre Craft. This might just be the only one left of its kind!

I have done some work to it. It's about 98% complete, mainly just need to finish up the 'street-legal' things. This is one bad buggy. Dual chrome pipes (sounds like a Harley!), chrome chevy rims, 4 chrome side mirrors, chrome headlights, chrome roll bar and chrome front bumper. Original metalflake body kit (blue/purple).

Here I am, anyways..... I've came close to selling this thing a few times but always backed out. I would hate myself if I did let this go.

My dad got me into VW's, particularly Baja's, cagebuggy's and dunebuggy's. He had at least one of every kind. I pretty much grew up in his cagebuggy, so I had to get myself a VW toy. This actually started off as a father-daughter project but my father got diagnosed with terminal cancer and passed away a year after diagnosis.

Looks good, you should keep it though! Those things are hard enough to find, especially if yours is unique. You would regret it if you sold it. My husband and I have about 25 vehicles, and he usually won't sell any of them. Yesterday he traded his 87 Monte Carlo SS for a dune buggy. He had an extra rear end and transmission in his old rail buggy, he gave it away the other day, and now he regrets it. He tried to get it back but they had already junked it! So we now know that you should never get rid of anything!
