Page 2: The Parts Car
April 09, i got a call on my cell phone from a woman living in courtney. She said that she had seen my ad in the paper and was calling to let me know that she had a rear ended saturn sc2. She didnt know the year but she did know it was black and standard. I asked her a few questions to find out, such as does it have disc's on the back, power ect.... She called me back later that day and gave me the year and all the answers to my questions. About 2 weeks after she called, the parts car was sitting in my driveway. For a mere 600 dollars. Im stoked. When the parts car arrived at my house, I got the guy to start it up. It didnt Start right away and instantly my gut dropped. HAHA silly us the battery was dead so after a bit of swapping batteries ect, the car came to life.
The Good.
- 600 $
- Running engine with 179xxxk.
- Good 5 spd transmission.
- Front Windshield.
- Power windows, locks, mirrors.
- After market sunroof.
- Full Interior ( Black )
- Front end ( Bumper, Fenders )
- Cv Joints
- Dash Console / Speedometer
- Carpet.
- Stereo RCA cables and power wire.
The Bad.
- Rear Ended. ( More of a side swipe to me )
- Rear bumper wrecked.
- Right side back end wrecked.
This would be the Sc2 Parts car. When it arrived.
My younger brother and his friends checkin out the new parts car (bottom left)
My brother sittin in the driver seat, me in the passenger, checkin out the new car (bottomright)
Head lights popped up perfectly, only to reveal and dead bulb in the right light.
Tail light that wasnt hurt by the accident, works.
A few interior shots of the parts car when I got it.
The side where it got hit.
Air bags deployed, cheap pedals, 600$ parts car, priceless :P
( One mans junk is another mans treasure, clearly. haha )
Broken glass was every where from the back window on the oposing side of the accident.
There was glass all over the back seats, and where the seat belt was.
Where its rear bumper should be :( ( trunk was perfect so i took it :P )
The best part about the 600$ parts car.
This is what the parts car looks like now.
Engine Hoist that i borrow from my neighbour across the road, on its way into our shop.
An array of parts stack together. ( door panels, sunroof, rubbers, ect ect )

Interior Shots of the stripped Parts Car
All the nuts and bolts, pretty much anything and everything, baggied up and labeled.
