The Car
This is my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT 5-speed. I got it a little over a year ago when it had about 63,000 miles on it, it has about 70,000 now. The previous owners modified it a bit, so its faster than stock; its got a ported/polished upper air intake, bored throttle body, Ocelot exhaust system with cat-delete, performance ECM, crossdrilled/slotted brakes, poly bushings all around, and a few other modifications. I'm guessing the car has between 150-165 hp and 180-200 tq, which is a bit more than stock. The 5-speed transmission is also different from the 4-speed manual in my '86 Fiero SE. Even so, this car doesn't get any better gas mileage than my '86 Fiero, the best I've gotten is high 20's highway.
Plans
My next upgrade for this car is going to be 12" Corvette brakes with a larger brake master cylinder. It currently has stock-sized 10.25" cross-drilled and slotted brakes, which help with brake fade, but I think larger brakes will work even better. From there, hopefully in the next 6 months I'll turbocharge this car and do more suspension mods.
Audio Mods
The car has Kenwood dash and B-pillar speakers with a Sony headunit and a light-up "Fiero" trimplate. It sounds decent, looks nice (almost stock), but it really needs a subwoofer in the future.
