I bought this truck in the spring of 2008. It's a 1991 Nissan D21 2wd pickup. 5 spd, regular cab, short box. I bought this truck with plans of doing major modifications to it, and I am well under way. I'm building this truck to be a daily driver. I has to be practical, comfortable, have good handling, decent power, and overall a nice look to it.
Current list of modifications:
97 front bumper. 97 hood. 97 grill. 4x4 fenders. Clear marker lights. Altezza style tail lights. 95 pathfinder dash with intrument cluster. R32 skyline steering wheel. 92 Honda Prelude seats.
92 Nissan 240sx DOHC 2.4L engine and transmission. Shortened driveshaft. Cosmo short shifter. Pace Setter 4-1 header. 2.5 inch exhaust with Magniflow muffler. Fidanza aluminum flywheel. Centerforce dual friction clutch. Autometer oil pressure and temp gauges.
Drop spindles (2 inch) drop blocks (3 inch) drop shocks, front and rear. Rear anti swaybar. <--all Belltech. Polyurethane front swaybar bushings. Enkei RS6 17x8 rims with 0 offset. 225/50/17 BF Goodwrench tires.
Panasonic cd player. Alpine V12 amp. 10 inch low profile Premier sub. 6.5 inch component speakers in the center console. 5.25 speakers in the doors.
Spray on bedliner
List of Mods to come:
Rollpan. Paint remainder of truck Garnet Fire red. Power windows and locks. Custom fiberglass center console. Limited slip differencial. Turbo kit maybe?
It's been a while since I updated this. Recently I've built a custom center console, installed a full stand alone engine managment system (mega squirt II) and finished painting.
