This is the 1994 Mercury Topaz GS, that was given to me in December, 2007, by my very awesome buddy, Jay. He bought a 1992 (or 93) Ford Taurus & gave me this car, told me to do whatever I wanted with it. I decided to sell it. After he moved from Nova Scotia to Alberta then BC, I tried to sell it 'n had a few offers, but they didn't pan out. It just sat parked next to my '87 Caddy Coupe DeVille. After Jay passed away on Mar.23/08 in BC in a car accident, it hurt like hell to look at it, I would come close to breaking down everytime I looked at it, so I sold it in April '08. It ran ok, needed some minor bodywork 'n brakes.

It had 273,000 kms on it when I sold it. I hope the car went to a good home, or it's parts went to another Tempo/Topaz, so a little part of Jay lives on, somewhere out there, I still have Jay's fuzzy dice from this car, and I will never part with them.

After goin' fine on a 6-car GM streak, Jay had to go 'n stick me with a Ford haha!!! It's ok, bro, still love ya, even though you're no longer with us.

 This is me 'n Jay, taken Christmas '07, partyin' hard. You always had my back, bro 'n I'm honored to have had yours as well. You were the 1st person to ever tell me that respected me. I will never forget that, Jay. Thank you for that, it will always live on with me. Save a spot in Heaven, will ya? And after we have our coffee 'n smoke, we'll show 'em how to kick ass!!!
