This is my 1978 ford f-150 super cab. i bought this truck from my friend's dad. he only drove the truck to work and to get firewood. it has 136000 originial miles. it has a 300 cu. in. straight six and a four speed manual tranny. he took real good care of the motor. it runs real nice. it has a 9 inch rear end, not sure about the gears in it though. the only major problem is there is rust all over the bed. i would like to either get new quarters or a whole new bed. This is my first car. Im 16 and don't have the money to fix her up right now. but once i get the funds, i have big plans for the green beast. If anyone knows where i can get performance parts for the straight six, please let me know. thanks

7/12/09- since im workin now i had enough cash to give her a tune up. she's got new spark plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor, oil change w/synthetic oil and a new coil (old one was busted). also, i noticed it was running a little rough, so i figured the carb needed to be adjusted. with the air cleaner off, i noticed that the carb was really loose. i tightened it down and adjusted it and she runs like a dream now.

10/3/09- I did the back brakes, and what a mess they were. it was missing alot of parts and had the wrong brake shoes on it. one brake cylinder wasn't working and the other was leaking pretty bad. i got the back brakes all set and it stops great. i also had to pop-rivet more sheet metal over the rust so it would pass inspection. i decided to paint all of them too so it wouldn't look as bad. once i get a new camera i will put up some more pics.
