An update to the progress on the Ramcharger. Due to a recent surgery money has been tight and shoulder has not been healing the way it was supposed to. However, I have bought a radiator and some door hinges for the driver door that I'm hoping to install soon.

This is where I have to give thanks to my 15 year old son. He has been great about helping me, and I couldn't have done many of the things on the truck without him. I have added some pics of the truck how it looks now next to the pics of when I get it, below.

The interior is in really bad shape. The previouse owner put in some really bad captains seat. Feels like I'm a weeble wooble when I'm driving it.

Obviously I will be putting in a roll cage, including rear seat protection, with a spare tire carrier built in.

I was thinking about fabing my own bumper with a receiver hitch, D-rings and a swing away fuel can holder so I can still open the tail gate.

I havn't decided on the amount of lift I want yet. I have found some 8" but don't think I want to go that big. Thinking more like maybe a 4 inch. Overall lift accomplished with the lift mentioned in the upcoming pages is about 4 inches.

Front bumper will be swapped out for a new one with a winch ect...

The poor girl has had a rough life. It has a stock 318 that runs pretty well. The transmission is an automatic 727 that also seems to operate correctly. I plan on rebuilding the engine with some high performance parts and think thats about all. I used to have a 69 van with a 318 that would pull the tires off the ground and think that would be fine for me. I need to lock up the axles. I know I'm going to love this truck even more than my 82 Bronco.

I think you should do the top body color. I am glad you decided against the black on the bottom. These trucks have so much body to them and I think when people do the black on the bottom it makes the truck seem smaller in some way. Just a thought.
