This is my 2004 Land Rover Discovery II. This is my daily driver, along with my project. I absolutly love this car and have full confidence it can out off road any jeep or hummer stock.

Modifications:

Safety Devises Roof Rack w/ lighting

Factory Rear Ladder

Pioneer 7" AVH-P6600dvd w/ Nav

Single MTX 4500 Thunder Sub

1000 watt Sony Xplode Amp

Factory Light Guards

Factory Brush guard w/ Hella's

Optima Red Top Battery

Flowmaster 40-Series Exhaust

Ultra-White headlights

Factory Floormats

Some future mods to come hopefully soon is a set of 245/8.5/R16 wheels on some steelys. Then a full RTE 3" suspension kit. Probably will throw some spacers in there for a little bit extra ground clearence. Some QT diff guards. Streetglow lighting throughout the interior for looks. Eventually i'll tint the windows, install a snorkel, replace the bumpers (ARB w/ rock sliders), Replace the lockers with ARB Air Lockers, and put a gearbox skidplate under.

You probably cant tell in pictures but i noticed a crazy difference with them installed.

8/16 Put on the new roof rack from Safety Devices. It looks so much better on.BigRedSally's 2004 Land Rover DiscoveryBigRedSally's 2004 Land Rover Discovery

Also put in a flashlight mount and fire extinguisher in the trunk. Thought it was a good idea.

Also a pic of the flowmaster being installed sometime soon.

The new red top Optima. Not too shabby huh?

8/26- Just installed the flowmaster. Sounds so good. Orders spring spacers from toddco suspensions and ordered a Pioneer head unit w/ gps.

New Decals for the back window. The Camel Trophy ones my favorite

There's a pretty big difference in ground clearence with a 3" lift! I run about a 32" tire and i have never run into a clearance issue. with a 3" lift and some diff gurds(pretty weak on rovers) you should be able to go pretty much anywhere offroad no problems! it does make it a little difficult to get in the truck though!

ok ok ffffeeeewwwwww! because like i said ive been off roading without the boards and it ws perfect for what i was doing and etc. As for the lift, i dont have the money to go with all the springs and shocks! i think im still gonna get the blocks and put them in, im not that hardcore of an off roader so i think ill be alright...even if my springs start to sag, at that point ill think about switching them out haha. i found blocks if you're intrested in getting them like i am.... http://toddcosuspensions.com/noname6.html theres also a 5% off coupon http://www.toddcosuspensions.com/10offcoupon.html all in all the lift will cost around 160ish with shipping and handeling

by the way have you bottomed out hard when you were ever off roading?? because i see you have the running boards and well i put mine on but i still havent offroaded in them so idk the clearance issue very well with them on.
