A short time after I bought her, I replaced the tires with a set of Firestone Indy 500 tires in the original tire size. The white letters really make the car stand out. I also ordered a new Ford emblem and replaced the valve body and springs in the transmission. She is shifting smooth now.

It didn't take long to get the Thunderbird over to my tuner for some work. I have three programs on my XCal2, 87 performance, 92 performance and 93 performance. I also found a correct vintage Kenwood KDC-4003 CD player. I didn't want anything modern in the dash, I wanted it to be correct.

The stock speakers were horrible, I ordered a complete set of Pioneer three way speakers for my doors and the back seat area.

The Interior was in great shape. I found a new set of door panels that had the cloth still attached. Since this picture, I have replaced the rubber mats with the correct factory versions. Yes, it is BLUE!
