I bought this car from the orginal owner back in 2000. He was 72 years old at the time and the car only had 39,000 miles and change on it. He had it repainted once and they changed the colors from the original yellow and black to brown and yellow.. I did say he was 72 years old right! LOL
Anyway, I got it and decided to paint it all black. Did that but was never really happy with it so I decided to go back to the original scheme and did the yellow/black combination back on it sometime around August of 2006.
I got tired of the original 305 and built me a 355, aluminum head motor. Edelbrock, 76 CC heads, Edelbrock intake, 580" lift cam, forged KB pistons, total seal rings, steel crank 4 bolt main 1970 350 block bored .030.... 350 turbo with a 3500 stall, 3.42 gears out back and when needed a NOS system with 200 horse jets but to be honest I have never even filled the bottle because the car will not hook up at all with just motor so I know it will never hook with the juice. Has a Street Avenger Holley on top, ceramicoated shorty style headers running back thru Flows also... Car now also has new 16" BBS wheels on it from a 87 GTA I towed in that had frame damage so I thought my Camaro would look better running 16" low profile tires and blacked out wheels. I will try to get a couple pics of it with the new wheels soon!
Interior is still all stock except for some Gauges and a tach and a Alpine CD player. No rust ever and everyone is always so amazed that the doors still close like they are new and do not drop at all LOL

Here is a picture of my 79 RS with the 16" BBS wheels on it now.....

I just painted this Camaro for a local guy this past weekend.. He wanted a bright yellow so I used some 2007 Corvette yellow (Velocity Yellow)... Is it bright enough??
