This is my 1970 Nova SS. Its running a rebuilt 402, 400 Turbo, 3.42 gears out back. Florida body with no rust and all original sheetmetal except the bumpers are new. I converted it to front power disc brakes, did all the body work, painted it and installed the engine/trans/rear myself. Only things I had done somewhere else is the engine being rebuilt and the trans being rebuilt also. The interior is all original also. I just dyed it all black. Car was originally gold on gold eeew!
Well my Nova is gone.. I posted it on Craigslist for $14,000 and had a guy call me and ask me if I would take $12,000 for it without even seeing it. Said he would give me that for it if I would deliver it to him about 70 miles down the highway..So I loaded it up the next morning, hauled it down the road for him to check it out. He listened to it run, looked around and under it and seen this was a zero rust body and just said OK... Started counting out hundred dollar bills... I went from there and was driving down the road to find me someplace to grab lunch when I seen a small car lot that had several upscale types of cars like BMW's, couple Land Rovers and such and I seen a black Chrysler 300C sitting there that just said it was loaded on the windshield... Went in and they were asking 16 grand for it so I said no thank you because I just couldnt afford to put that much money into a car right now. I always liked the 300C's. I have owned a 300 touring and RT Magnu, already but they dont compare to the 300C.... Anyway, after about 45 minutes of this guy trying all his sales pitches at me and I finally told him I had 10 grand to spend on a car and would have to see about putting some more money together and come back and make him an offer... He broke down and said he would take $10,200... out the door LOL I told him to write it up ehehee I just posted a couple pics here on Domain of the 300C if you want to check it out... I hated selling my Nova but I really needed a nice "daily driver" .. I got lucky and got a nice ride that can haul some ass as well!!!
