Here is my 2008 SXT 2.4l Dodge Avenger

Page 1- My Ride
Page 2- My videos links, other Avengers, and various internet pics.
I recognize that my ride has the small engine package and as such I will not be blowing away any serious cars. That being said, having 173 HP stock, and with the few simple additions I have made, my car does very good against most moderate V6's.
Despite not being a powerhouse, I do however take a lot of pride in my car and have added a lot of custom touches. A few of them have been aimed at the engine and adding a bit more umph, but without a tuner available, it is rather limited. Most of my additions tend to focus on the cosmetic, and I try to make them tasteful, no flame jobs or large do nothing wings. This is the family car after all.
My dreams are big, but my budget small at the time due to struggles at work. At the bottom of this page are the things I will add to my car when I can save up for them. I do love cars and adding parts to my ride, but also am married and have to balance my wants and needs with hers.
This is what have I done so far:
1- Chrome exhaust tip.
2- Horizontal chrome grill inserts.
3- SXT4 Emblems plus three color stripe along the rocker and rear fender.
4- Rally Stripe using the same three color stripe.
5- Decals:
6- Custom made ABS intake with a Spectre clamp on filter.
and Crankcase exhaust filter. There is a natural gap left over
from the removal of the stock intake which provides as ram air.

One 10 inch white LED strip.
One music activated 10 inch plasma tube.
Exterior:
Two white LED strips added to the headlights
Two white LED fog lights added to lower grill.
Four 12 inch white LED strips added to the rocker pannel.
One 12 inch white LED Strip added under the front bumper.
Two 12 inch and one 5 inch white LED stripes added behind the
grill area.
Trunk:
One music activated 10 inch plasma tube.
Two 5 inch white LED strips.
Interior:
Five 6 inch green neons.
Three green LED spotlights.
One 6 inch Plasma tube.
Two 9 inch Plasma Tubes attached to the center column.
8- Painted the engine cover, fuse box cover, dipsticks, fluid covers,
center shifter ring, and battery terminal cover to match the
exterior.
9- Added a Cell Phone and GPS holder and to the passenger
compartment.
10- Performance pedals.

See ya out on the Road

Mod Goals:
1- Add style, but not look "Pimped" or "Riced".
2- Get more power, but not at the sacrifice of the "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty."
3- Everything must be able to be removed with minimal evidence and at least look stock once it is removed.
Future Mods:
1- Exhaust rework, from the muffler back. Several choices to decide upon.
2- Performance Programmer, (if they ever make one). If you own a Dodge Avenger or Chrysler Sebring with the 2.4l engine, please take this survey so that Diablo will know that we want one. They want to know there is interest before developing a programer.
