This is my 1970 XW Ford Fairmont which i bought in 98, it took me 2 1/2 years to restore that included a full bare metal resto. I am a panel beater by trade so 90% of the work I was able to do myself, just paint work & interior was done by someone else. The paint job is ppg jet black with glasurit clear, factory fairmont interior with the addition of autometer gauges, engine is a 351 cleveland which just experienced a rebuild that now includes forged acl race pistons, big hydraulic crow cam, double valve springs, anti pump up lifters, double row timing chain, 2v close chamber heads that are matched ported & polished, 4v valves, high volume oil pump, edelbrock performer manifold, 700 holley double pumper, msd ignition,10mm topgun leads, custom john bennet water pump, carter fuel pump, high energy sump, gt radiator, 14 inch thermo fan, plus the moter has been balanced & blue printed. The gearbox c10 auto with a stage 2 shift kit & 2800 stall converter dominator. It has genie headers & 2 & 1/4 twin system, diff is 9 inch, 28 spline lsd 3:5 gear ratio, the suspension is front 302 windsor springs with monroe shockers & the rear is lowered 2 1/4 leaf springs. The whole car has nolathane bushes & pedders sway bar, the front brakes are xd calipers & rotors & rear are xw drums & running a brake vacuum tank. The wheels are convo pro's, front are 15 x 6 & rear 15 x 8 with 205/65's kellys on front & back bf goodridge 275/50's. I have been the proud owner of her for 10 years, she is my pride & joy knowing I have done the work myself. I found car domain by accident & saw some amazing rides & just wanted to share my beast with every other proud owner. Just to add I have done this car up in a type of theme, it is based around vampires & gothic type theme. That would explain the plates & the boot.
