SUSPENSION
I installed Hotchkis front and rear performance sway bars. As the pictures show, the new ones are solid versus the factory hollow ones. I also installed Edelbrock IAS shocks.

The Durango was lowered approximately 1 1/2" on the front by cranking down the torsion bars and the rear by solid steel blocks and the plates on the Roadmaster Active Suspension.

The brakes were upgraded to slotted rotors on the front and converted to slotted rotors on the back instead of drum brakes for the rear. Both kits are from Stainless Steel Brakes Company.
These are the factory front and rear brakes.

Comparison of the factory and new rotors.

Here's the new brakes installed.

A driveshaft loop was installed for the rear driveshaft for safety. Putting more power to the wheels means more stress on the u-joints. If the front u-joint were to break, it would fall and hit the ground, which could potentially flip a vehicle end for end.
