This car was decommissioned a few months back due to some people trying to break into my car when i was overseas. thankfully they didnt suceed. I have since removed the system, brought it back to singapore, and put it in a new car. So with a new car, and a new system, its time for a new page. Thanks for all the views, and the support. i love each and every one of you! :)

The new car/system can be found here:Kev's Benz

Background

Hi there and welcome to my page.

My name's Kevin and this is a page about the first car i ever have the priviledge of owning, and more importantly, the sound system that lies within it.

*At the time this install was completed, Kevin was a 22 year old commerce undergraduate in the University of New South Wales*

Its my first ever install, so go easy on me if you don't think it looks very professional. Remember, its my first time!

The whole project took about a week, start to finish, working day till night.

So whether you're a personal friend i invited over to take a look, a guy i spoke to in a car audio forum (there are tons of you guys, and you probably helped me a lot too), or just a guy who stumbled in here, kick back, enjoy the show, and let me entertain you.

Dedication

Before I go any further though, I thought I'd give honourable mention to all those great people out there, whose support and help i surely could not have done this without.

Some of these guys and gals are:

All the folks over at the Singapore I.C.E forum & Singapore Car Audio DIY forum like dunnomuch, 99sunny, Sergiowoods, JoelSoo, PCKing, Lee401, 156Yeah and AutoS and likewise, the great people over at Car Audio Australia like Shiny_Car, Walkinshaw, JohnA, splbound, killbilly, blackice and so many more countless others i missed out whose patience and advice has taught me most of what i know today. If you're looking for car audio information i cant recommend those sites enough, so if you've never been there and are feeling up to it, visit them, they sure deserve the support!

To Tara who listened to me scream both joy and bloody murder throughout the whole install(and for a long time after) via email, and always listened, replied, and calmed me down and helped me focus without me even realising it, and always pretending to sound interested in it even though she probably wasnt! I couldnt have done it without you!

And also to Sulyn, for giving me valuable pointers about handling power tools and planning my construction, and especially so for believing so much in me even when everyone else in the hardware store at Novena Square was laughing their ass off at me when i told them i wanted to install my own car audio system...i'll never forget that!

And of course a big shout to every else like Kah Wai(who introduced me into the world of car audio), Oldman (now you know it wasnt just 'theory' i knew!), Boon(for letting me copy all the greatest CDs in his collection for my listening enjoyment!), Desmond (for being rich AND handsome!), Ben(for being the most impresssive charmer to ride a scrambler), Jeremy(for the 'brotherhood' that gave me many happy memories and for looking like Ekin Cheng, only better!), Sharen (for being a party animal who likes Blaupunkt car audio a little too much!), Lindy (for being a great friend!), Mark (for knowing how to enjoy 'substances' but never letting it get in the way of his studies and for being the first 'Canadian' i ever knew!), Mahesh (for us still being great friends even though we rarely keep in touch these days), Luke(the lucky bugger who always changes cars like underwear!), Pelecia (for coming to visit me twice last year!), Livia(who always resists my indecent advances to her until i get my platinum credit card...chiobu why u hurt me so! :D), Prashan (for being almost as vain as i am!), Priji(my buddy in UNSW), Bobby(the Hong Kong dog from Baxter!), Andrew (another Baxter dog!) and everyone else i might have left out!

You guys rock!

Now, on to the install....
