this is my mercedes e300 24v i love these w124 models thay are the best mercedes ever built and the inline six cylinder engines were the best , much better than the later v6 engines which were ruffer , interestingly the 24 valve engine fitted to the saloon was produced in very small numbers something like 19,000 were reqistered with this engine out of 250,000 300e models produced , also it was the only one at the time in mercedes range which came with an automatic transmission standard with a no cost option getrac manual !
