APR's products have been known to surface among domestic performance vehicles in the past, like the Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette. Now APR is making a statement among the domestic marketplace with their soon to be debuted Mustang Widebody Kit, for the 2005 - Current Mustang GT.
The kit features replacement front bumper and fenders, side skirts, rear quarter panels and replacement rear bumper. The carbon fiber hood is optional and will fit on any 2005 - current Mustang, as well as the two rear wing options, depending if you have the widebody kit or not. The GTC-300 fits nicely on the GT and the GTC-500 rear wing is intended for the widebody kit Mustangs.
This photo shows early development on the front section of the Mustang kit. The kit will widen the Mustang by 90mm in the front and 100mm in the rear. The kit is made from Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) and easily bolts on where it replaces factory parts.
This shot was taken just a week ago and shows the first production parts that are going to be installed and painted, just in time to debut at the 2008 SEMA Show in their booth, #24517, center hall.
