This is my 2003 Tahoe. Just purchased a few months ago. Mostly stock except a CAI that i found cheap on Partstrain.com. Its a Koolvue system, a cheap knock off but is built exactly like the AEM and INJEN ones ive seen. K&N was too expensive. I cant see paying $300 for a CAI, when my exhaust system is going to be a little more then that and all stainless steel not sure if I want to go with the JBA system or MBRP.. any suggestions??? The new throttle body spacer is HERE!!! and i didnt waste anytime installing it in this cold winter weather. I have the Trans Dapt Spacer from Summitracing.com. When we hit the warmer days i see about +1mpg gains. Summer will be the real test. Perfromance is awesome though. Still has trouble spinning the bigger tires but I am very happy that when lined up against my buddies Scion TC with headers, exhaust, intake I can just walk away from him. That was when I just had the intake. Since i put the spacer on I took out a 94 Integra with a fart can. I thought I was gonna lose but the Spacer gave me enough torque to power through the beginning of second gear and run him all the way to 90 and keep a 1 1/2 car lead. Anyone with a Tahoe should know what I mean when I say the beginning of second gear for this chevy isnt the greatest.... In a few short weeks im going to order my SUPERCHIPS Flashpaq 2815 Programmer. It now lets you log 0-60 and 1/4 mile times!! This will be good to do before it tune it... and then after so I can see the differences. Ill keep you posted!!!!!!
All cleaned up.
